Business Start-ups Bootcamp
Starting own business can be frightening, and one might not know how and where to begin. The Uganda National Entrepreneurship Development Institute (UNEDI) conducts a series of high-impact Business starts ups Bootcamps designed to test one’s entrepreneurial appetite, dive into deep system thinking to initiative and jumpstart the entrepreneurial adventure. Participants learn the building blocks of what it takes to create their own venture from the ground-up, including idea generation, team formation, business validation, pitching to investors and more
UNEDI STARTUP BOOTCAMPS (USBs) are super intensive and interactive training programs, an Invaluable first step in one’s entrepreneurial journey in a refreshing atmosphere to think, initiate, and innovate. Successful candidates are admitted into UNEDI Innovation Hub where they will incubate, and grow their businesses including getting access to financial support and investment funds. Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Extension Training Boot Camps 2023 (FLEETTM)
Are you seeking a career in financial sector deepening, and you want to upgrade your Knowledge and build a strong competence and abilities, then FLEETTM Program Bootcamp is for you. This 3 –days non-residential Bootcamp is conducted by financial sector industry leaders and experts from around the world. Girl After School Business Startup Bootcamp
This is a carefully crafted young women empowerment activity as part of the Girl After School Program (GASP). The Bootcamp lasts for 21-days and is supper intensive activity targeted to benefit 90 girls grouped in three cohorts of 30s who have recently graduated from university or college and desirous of starting their own businesses. The program is partially funded by the International Policy Center for Sustainable Development (IPC4SD) UK. After the 21-days Bootcamp, beneficiaries are provided with 6-12 months long both virtual and onsite mentorship and coaching aimed at molding and causing transformation of the 90 girls into high-impact entrepreneurs and mindful leaders of sustainable quality. Beneficiaries are also supported with financial resources to create decent jobs of sustainable quality and scalability

Target Audience
The program specifically targets young women who have attained a certain level of education at degree or diploma in any field after 2019. Fresh graduates with serious ambitions and motivation to succeed as entrepreneurs (self-employed) are encouraged to apply

Inclusiveness and shared prosperity
The program is designed to be inclusive and of shared prosperity hence admission into the program will consider Uganda’s regional balance landscape from both urban and rural settings

Caution
The program is a super intensive program involving a series of travels from participants’ homes to upcountry and outside Uganda where necessary, therefore applicants must be committed and flexible with a ready-to-go attitude

GAMA Programme Highlights
Global Girl Agenda Mentoring Academy (GAMA) is both onsite and virtual 24 months’ mentorship, training and global field experience program designed to bring a groups diversity girls in cohorts of 25 female youths for networking, peer to peer education, training, coaching and UNEDI field GAMA experience hosted in various locations around the world. GAMA targets girls below the age of 27 with ambitions to transform the world around five theme areas of; (i) Climate change mitigation and adaptation, (ii) financial inclusion and venture capital building, (iii) food security and agribusiness sector development, (iv) ICT for development, and (v) early childhood development. The program has four onsite residential academies while the rest of the program activities are done virtually
